EXHIBITION AT POTTERY COTTAGE

Adam Dworski: a Potter’s Centenary

Adam (Adaš) Dworski (1917-2011) set up the Wye Pottery in Clyro in 1956, and ran it until his retirement in 1997. To celebrate his life and work, in September 2017 we had a retrospective exhibition of his pottery, paintings and memorabilia here at Pottery Cottage, his original studio and home. Adam Dworski: a Pottery’s Centenary was curated by Emma Balch and Gareth Howell-Jones, with input and support from Marijana Dworski.

Thank you to all those who loaned work for the exhibition. We were absolutely thrilled to have exactly 400 visitors to the exhibition (held during h.Art – Herefordshire Art Week) and that it was so widely appreciated.
